I love pumpkin, and what could be better than make some pumpkin spread for eating in the morning with your bagel, or spread on cracker for snack? Canned pumpkin is available year round, so this is an easy recipe to enjoy whenever you have a craving for it!
- Light cream cheese
- Canned pumpkin
- Light brown sugar
- Maple Syrup
- Whole Wheat Bagel
- Whole wheat crackers
Combine 3/4 cup of light cream cheese, 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin, 1/3 cup of light brown sugar, and beat at medium speed until well blended!
Fold in 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon until the cream smooth.
Cover and put in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until chill enough to spread.
Use this pumpkin cream cheese with whole wheat bagels in the morning, or with whole wheat crackers for snack!
